Oleśnica House of Meetings with History was created to bring the inhabitants and tourists complicated stories of the city. It is a modern regional chamber presenting the history of Oleśnica from its founding to modern times. It is located in the city center, near the castle of the Dukes of Oleśnica and the castle church, near the Market Square, in a renovated historic tenement house at ul. Bocianiej 11. The task of the facility, operating as part of the Public Library in Oleśnica, is to disseminate knowledge about the city, its history, monuments and related figures, and to disseminate cultural heritage. The museum combines traditional and modern methods of presenting history. His collections include old photographs, maps, postcards and many prints. Most of the archives are digitized and available through multimedia applications, in addition some exhibits have been displayed in showcases and drawers. Recently, you can also admire the treasury of Praga pennies from Oleśnica – a collection of 420 numismatic items from the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries.
